Description:
  • We're looking for a seasoned DevOps engineer with the skills to automate repeatable processes, develop integrated solutions, and help deliver a seamless cloud deployment and reporting platform.
  • The candidate will have demonstrable experience coding and scripting using languages like Python, JavaScript, etc.
  • Understand serverless architectures and continuous integration & deployment (CI/CD), plus GraphQL and RESTful API development.
  • Understand infrastructure-as-code technologies (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation), source code management (GitHub) as it relates to the developer experience.
  • Build automation skills (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) are also required.
  • Our preferred candidate is a team-player and a self-starter with a passion for learning and growing. Attention to detail and the ability to communicate with a highly technical audience are desired qualifications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT related discipline or any combination of equivalent relevant education, training, and experience.
  • 3+ years of development experience using AWS.
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
  • Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
  • Proficient in programming using two or more of the following: Python, JavaScript, Shell Scripting, Groovy, Java.
  • Experience in designing and consuming Rest and GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience in containerization using Docker.
  • Experience setting up, maintaining, and automating continuous integration systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of Containerization with Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Experience working on a Platform as a Service (PaaS) team.
