Job Description

A platform engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the technology platforms and infrastructure that support software applications and services. They work on creating and managing the underlying systems and tools that enable developers to build, deploy, and operate their applications efficiently. The role of a platform engineer can vary depending on the client and the specific requirements of the platform they are working on.

Required Skills
  • AWS Cloud & Oracle, Terraform, AWS Serverless (Lambda), Containers (Dockers, AWS EKS), Jenkins, Python, Java/J2EE Version 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, JDBC Angular, AngularJS AND Rx Js.
  • 5+ years experience architecting within Cloud (AWS) environment.
  • You must be able to craft serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
  • Experience in deploying application using container technologies like AWS EKS.
  • Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery (CI/CD prefer Jenkins), Test Driven Development, Craft Driven Development.
  • Experience building Microservices using Docker and Kubernetes frameworks is a must.
  • Experience with application development technologies like Java/J2ee, Spring Boot Framework & Hibernate and craft techniques in a large environment(s) with understanding of distributed concepts, patterns.
  • 3+ years of experience in building scalable single page applications using Angular 6 or above.
  • 3+ years hands on experience with: JavaScript, Angular (or comparable framework), CSS, Bootstrap, Web API, RESTful Services.
  • 5+ years experience working with Oracle database is required.
  • Strong database development skills with ability to craft tables, Complex SQL & data workflows.
  • Experience with Agile tools & technologies (Scrum, JIRA, and Confluence).
  • Stays abreast of cutting-edge technologies/trends and uses experience to influence application of those technologies/trends to assist the business.
