IT Asset Management Specialist
The Opportunity:

As an IT Asset Management Specialist on our team, you will work with Booz Allen colleagues and the DoD to enable global networks to counter the proliferation and use of WMD and emerging threats globally. You will work with our client to assist in the management of IT hardware assets. Additionally, you will be part of a logistics team required to perform the full spectrum of duties associated with shipping or receiving, inter-plant transfers, barcode assignments, and database maintenance.

You must be ready for full days, fast-paced work, and using a variety of skill sets throughout the week. You'll be able to account for monthly validations and annual inventory of thousands of accountable items, working with security and government property managers for disposition. You'll be a hands-on specialist that's part of a team of professionals focused on supporting the customer's mission at the largest site in the customer's enterprise. Using your understanding of the DoDI 5000.2, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team of data analysts, financial managers, systems engineers, and logisticians to ensure lifecycle and sustainment policy and documentation reflects DoD guidance and directives.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience managing government property and assets in accordance with contract requirements, approved procedures, and government regulations
  • Experience with the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS)
  • Experience analyzing and consolidating inventory results between multiple spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of the Government Furnished Property (GFP) Module
  • Ability to support customer IT asset management requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance, or repair activities
  • Ability to lift, carry, and load equipment or material, weighing up to 50 pounds, onto shelves, pallets, and box trucks for transport
  • Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
  • Experience assessing program documents and risks to determine the impact to logistics strategy and overall program schedule
  • Experience executing asset management duties and responsibilities with legacy DoD asset management tools or systems
  • Associate's degree in a Finance or CS field
  • National Property Management Association (NPMA) Certifications in either CPPA, CPPS, or CPPM
  • Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
