ROLE OVERVIEW

We are searching for a skilled and passionate Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team. You will be a key contributor to building and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring efficient data flow, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to work with a massive dataset across various domains including product information, customer behavior, sales, and marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and storing data from various sources, including website interactions, third-party integrations, and internal data systems.
  • Implement and manage data warehousing solutions, including relational databases and cloud data platforms.
  • Build and optimize data models and schemas to support business intelligence, reporting, and machine learning initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain data quality processes, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across the platform.
  • Collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Automate cron jobs and scheduled tasks related to data processing and pipeline execution.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in building interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Looker.
  • Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive information.
  • Stay abreast of emerging data technologies and trends, and proactively suggest improvements to our data infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the overall development of the data engineering team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with various data warehousing and data processing technologies (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with cloud data services.
  • Advanced Python skills with a focus on data manipulation using dataframes (e.g., Pandas).
  • Experience in building interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Looker.
  • Understanding of data modeling techniques and experience with different data structures.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
