Position Overview:

As a Supervising Senior Tax Analyst, you will work on challenging projects that directly impact our clients while collaborating with experienced leaders in a dynamic environment.
  • Prepare federal, state & local income tax returns, federal and state tax estimates, extensions, and forecasting
  • Utilize advanced corporate tax knowledge and understanding to support the tax compliance and tax provision process
  • Review and prepare complex corporate, federal, and state tax returns
  • Demonstrate understanding of ASC 740 and ability to prepare income tax accrual calculations
  • Audit quarterly estimated tax payments and extensions prepared by staff
  • Demonstrate understanding of tax return filing requirements for foreign operations
  • Conduct federal and state tax research and draft/review memorandums to support tax return filing positions and special projects to minimize tax expense
  • Remain current on developments and changes in tax law and accounting procedures
Qualifications Sought:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • 4+ years of progressive corporate income tax preparation of experience in corporate income tax preparation, preferably within a corporate tax department, professional services firm, or regional/national public accounting firm
  • 4+ years' experience with income tax provisions and/or preparation of consolidated federal and state tax returns
  • Proficiency with automated tax processing systems and online tax research tools such as ONESOURCE, CCH, RIA, and BNA
  • Excellent advisory and compliance capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to articulate complex information
  • Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • This is a hybrid role based in New York City, requiring the ability to work in-office at least 3 days per week or as needed based on business
  • Posted salary range: $88,000 to $114,000
