What will the Sr. IT Developer be responsible for at XTRA Lease?
  • Maintain and support custom built technology solutions residing primarily on a Microsoft platform.
  • Recommend and support testing and changes required for platform upgrades to newer database, server or software releases.
  • Develop new applications or changes to existing applications to satisfy business needs, new initiatives, or resolve problems.
  • Support production releases for minor application enhancements. Produce application builds and conduct deployments.
  • Provide technical support for projects and we are working in conjunction with our 3rd Party technology partners.
  • Provide analysis and problem resolution for application configuration and software changes under the direction of the XTRA Lease Architect or Lead Solutions Developer.
  • Provide technical support for critical application B2B integrations with XTRA's 3rd Party partners.
Skills & Experience needed:
  • 6-9 + yrs experience as a developer of custom ERP or Business Applications on a Microsoft platform (Required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field (Required)
  • Able and willing to reliably commute to our corporate office in Clayton, MO (5 days/week onsite- required)
  • Development of web services, stored procedures, UI components, and batch code.
  • Development of Browser based, Smart Client and Batch service-based applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Toolset and Development Standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new concepts.
  • Experience with scheduling software (i.e. Active Batch).
  • Experience with B2B data exchanges.
  • Understanding of application component architecture CI/CD fundamentals (Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Nuget, etc.)
Programming Languages: Microsoft .NET Framework 4+, ASP.NET Core 6+, Angular 8+, TypeScript/Javascript, HTML/CSS, T-SQL (stored procedures and functions)

Databases: Microsoft SQL Server

Software: Visual Studio/Devops, Microsoft Office, SQL Server Management Studio, Git/GitHub, Active Batch
