Come join our team and love what you do We are currently hiring a Health Information Management (HIM) Director The HIM Director is responsible for directing the activities of the Health Information Management Department in the management and maintenance of all patient medical records information, ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws, rules/regulations of licensing agencies and within Joint Commission standards for the quality of patient care.
Fremont Hospital is a fully accredited, 145-bed private inpatient psychiatric hospital providing quality care for children through adults. The facility provides a full assortment of care which includes assessments, inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, partial-hospitalization, intensive outpatient psychiatric treatment as well as chemical dependency outpatient care.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in information management/medical records required.
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years leadership experience in information management is required, with direct experience in a health care psychiatric facility preferred. Thorough knowledge of medical records coding and medical terminology required.
Licensure/Certifications: Certification accreditation as a medical record professional, Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), as determined by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
