QA Test Engineer C#.NET / Selenium / Katalon- ITmPowered

QA Test Engineer will test C#, .NET SQL Web applications with Angular front ends, C# middle tier, C# REST Webservices, and SQL Server database backends. Manual testing of .NET C# and SQL applications. Full QA Lifecycle - test plans, test cases, test scripts, regression testing, defect tracking, test cases, status reporting. Help establish automation practice working with developers and analysts to set the foundation for UI, Functional, and Integrative data driven tests. Test automation using Katalon and Selenium IDE. Create regression test automation suites. Testing and test automation on a Financial Treasury application so any understanding of Banking, Financial Applications, Cash Management, Account balances, statements, GL, AP, AR apps testing background context is helpful.

Duties:
  • Creates and executes test plans and scripts for application development efforts based on documented business requirements.
  • Conducts and oversees the functional and integration testing in an Agile environment.
  • Documents test results, issues, and risks.
  • Work with the project manager and/or scrum master to provide work estimates, testing schedule and provide project and release status and updates to Development Leads and Managers.
  • Participates in Business and Functional requirement reviews, design reviews and Test Plan reviews. Provides input to the project team on ways to improve the quality of these deliverables and to improve the ability to test the documented changes.
  • Guide non-QA resources for development and documentation of test plans and scripts. Reviews and provides feedback. Performs triage on issues discovered by non-QA testers, and verifies resolutions.
  • Test Automation - identify test cases for automation and begin automation using Katalon. Generate C# and update into Selenium IDE.
  • Test Automation using C# and Selenium IDE. Test .NET Web UI front end using CodedUI test (CUIT) automation framework for testing functional UI controls.
  • Test SQL database backends - inner/outer joins, select statements, queries, data validation testing. Support buildout of CI/CD Test Automation in C# Selenium.
  • Communicates gaps in standards adherence for testing related deliverables and process, provides constructive feedback and guidance, and assists in preventing audit exception findings related to testing deliverables and process.
  • Supports external and internal audit initiatives including data collection and reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or relevant discipline.
  • 3-5 years full QA lifecycle experience - test strategy, test approach, test plans, and test case libraries, test scripting, regression testing, test reporting.
  • Test Automation in a .NET environment using QA Testing frameworks.
  • Testing .NET applications - C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, C# REST Web Services
  • Test Automation Engineering including; developing reusable test suites using (not just record and playback).
  • Selenium IDE (C#), Selenium WebDriver and MSTest, Coded UI, within a .NET environment.
  • Coded UI test automation testing functional UI controls
  • White box testing - able to read - C#. ASP.NET, C# REST Web Services, and SQL Server.
  • Experience creating automated regression testing suites. CI/CD Test Automation
  • Experience with 1 or more Test Automation Frameworks - Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Hybrid Testing Framework, Data Driven Testing, Modular Testing framework, etc.
  • Banking / Financial Systems Testing - Cash, treasury, GL, AP, AR
  • QA Testing experience in MS Visual Studio, MS Team Foundation Server, MS Test Manager environment.
