Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Territory Manager responsible for account management, maintenance supervision, and program administration for Otis elevator units across the New York Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx. This position will be the central customer point of contact as well as the day-to-day manager of field associates that are assigned to service equipment in the area.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage account management and service operations for the designated customer and P&L
- Build and maintain customer relationships, achieve or exceed service KPIs and objectives, and serve as technical consultant to customers in the assigned territory
- Lead the performance of field operations for all service/maintenance projects ensuring all monthly reliability and availability metrics are met
- Perform field safety audits, jobsite inspections, and develop site safety/logistics plans
- Manage successful transition of new installations to service/maintenance contracts
- Monitor and manage spare parts inventory and forward planning of frequent wear parts to deliver high uptime
- Coordinate with Otis branches across Manhattan, Plainview, and Yonkers for workforce planning to address contracted coverage
- Bachelor's degree
- PMP or Project Management Credentials Preferred
- Availability to manage and supervisor field crews that conduct maintenance overnight and on weekends
- Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
- Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
- Need to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
- Detail oriented with demonstrated ability to deliver upon specific KPIs and service level agreements
- Strong leadership skills, goal-orientated, and self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
- 3+ years outside sales experience or field management experience within the elevator industry preferred
- 3+ years of experience in program management role for a public (Federal / State / City government) program
- Any experience with program management or field supervision within a pubic-private-partnership program
