Job Description
IFS is currently seeking an Analyst Relations Specialist to join the Global Communications team. This individual is responsible for supporting the Global Analyst Relations Director and the execution of the IFS Analyst Relations program, with the objective of "influencing the influencers" - targeted industry analysts whose research and commentary impact IFS customers, prospects, partners, and press. The Analyst Relations Specialist will work closely with key internal partners in support of maintaining positive relationships with targeted analysts, acting as the program manager on key competitive report responses, and tracking established metrics to measure program performance for internal awareness.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Program Management:
- Build and nurture relationships with key industry analysts covering core products/industries, serving as the primary point of contact for all analyst interactions.
- Manage analyst interactions, inquiries, and briefings. Set clear agenda and expectations for the engagements and share insights.
- Develop and manage strong and trusted relationships with key subject matter experts across the full portfolio of offerings.
- Manage and prioritize inbound analyst requests, including participation in ranking reports, research briefings, and customer reference identification.
- Lead and project manage analyst evaluations including internal strategy, kick-off, RFI execution, demo strategy, and final submission.
- Support the creation of content for analyst engagements, including presentations, briefing documents, and reports.
- Provide administrative support for dedicated AR events and initiatives.
- Develop tracking reports to measure AR program progress, both qualitatively and quantitatively e.g. IFS mentions, Gartner Peer Insights reviews, and analyst engagement activity.
- Track analyst research publication agendas, timelines, and event schedules.
- Support Global Communications peers on cross-functional efforts such as product launches and corporate announcements.
- Gather and disseminate market intelligence and analyst insights to internal stakeholders to influence product development, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate with internal content owners to develop and distribute the quarterly Analyst Relations newsletter.
- Leverage existing research subscriptions to meet internal research/data requests.
- Update AR resources and webpage content with current accolades and sales enablement documentation.
- Identify and share relevant research internally via Workplace for broad awareness.
- Track, synthesize, and distribute relevant research reports to internal stakeholders.
- BA/BS in Communications, Technology or Business preferred
- 2-3+ years of working in Analyst Relations, Marketing or Communications
- An analytical thinker with a strategic mindset
- A positive attitude and ability to be flexible in the face of change
- A strong self-starter with personal initiative and drive
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ease with written communications and ability to provide input to the design of various communications (newsletters, webpages, social)
- Previous work in Analyst Relations a bonus
