Job Summary:
The VP of Sales & Marketing will oversee all sales and marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives. This role involves managing and leading both domestic and international sales teams, working closely with product development and customer service to enhance brand awareness, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic sales plan, driving performance, and building long-lasting client relationships. The VP will also guide marketing initiatives, leveraging data analytics to drive successful campaigns and increase market share.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate sales teams across a worldwide market, ensuring effective execution of sales goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate new market opportunities and drive business development initiatives.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns that enhance brand positioning and customer engagement.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through strategic partnerships and a deep understanding of client needs.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, adjusting strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
- Coordinate with product development and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring accurate tracking of goals and performance metrics.
- Represent the company at key industry events, trade shows, and conferences to drive business growth and brand visibility.
- Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to the executive team, adjusting plans based on market conditions.
Knowledge/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 7-10 years of sales management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving growth and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing large, cross-functional sales and marketing teams.
- Expertise in developing and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns, including digital, content, and brand marketing.
- In-depth knowledge of CRM systems, sales pipeline management, and marketing analytics.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in public speaking and presenting to high-level stakeholders.
- Ability to think strategically while executing tactically in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with strong data analysis skills.
- Highly organized, with a focus on meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel 25-40% domestically and internationally.
