About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent with 8-20 years of experience to oversee on-site construction activities and ensure project success. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations at the construction site, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring project completion within schedule and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities for assigned projects, ensuring work is completed per contract specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for project-related matters, liaising with clients, project managers, and subcontractors.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety regulations.
  • Enforce compliance with local building codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identifying and resolving any issues that may impact schedules or budgets.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
  • Maintain project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, safety logs, and change orders.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 8-20 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and site staff effectively.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel as needed - per project

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in commercial projects: government, aviation, education, healthcare, etc.
  • Procore - required
  • Bluebeam - required
  • OSHA certification and other relevant safety training.
