Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking an Associate in Software Configuration Management to join our team. This entry-level role focuses on supporting the implementation and maintenance of software configuration management processes, ensuring compliance with company standards, and assisting with the management of software build releases.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in maintaining control and traceability of software products.
* Support the release process for software builds and updates under supervision.
* Help organize software configuration control board meetings and document proceedings.
* Participate in configuration audits under guidance to ensure adherence to contract requirements.
* Assist in generating and distributing software media for customer deliveries.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

* Some knowledge of software configuration management practices.
* Exposure to the Agile software development lifecycle.
* Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and learn continuous integration/development practices.
* Ability to assist with creating, archiving, and maintaining software builds and releases.
* Experience with version control and defect management tools is beneficial but not required.
* Familiarity with software development tools and version control systems is a plus.
