Come be a part of our winning team where your success is our success Apply online today What We Offer Health insurance Dental and vision insurance Life and disability insurance 401K with match Vacation time Paid training Opportunities for advancement Job Responsibilities Perform multipoint inspections Communicate additional service/repair needs to service advisors Check tire pressure and inspect fluid levels Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards and codes of conduct Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed Drain oil from crankcase and install a new oil drain plug and new oil filter Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks Qualifications Must meet dealership’s requirements for employment Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and information Familiarity with general aspects of automotive repair/maintenance Must have a valid Texas driver’s license Prior experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice preferred Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications High School Diploma or GED (required) Physical Requirements/Working Conditions Occasional exposure to inclement weather Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects Requires a significant amount of walking and/or standing. This position may also require working at a production pace while pushing and/or pulling materials from place to place.
