IN HOME RESPITE PROVIDER – Eau Claire, WIAre you compassionate, patient, and looking for meaningful part-time work that truly makes a difference? We’re looking for a nurturing and reliable caregiver to support a bright and bubbly child with unique emotional and developmental needs.This is a weekday morning role, perfect for someone who enjoys creating calm, structured routines and helping children start their day with confidence. The ideal candidate will be someone with a gentle presence who can provide reassurance and consistency — especially for a child who experiences toileting fears and sensory sensitivities.You’ll be part of a caring team that values patience, positivity, and genuine connection. If you’re someone who finds joy in helping kids grow and feel safe, we’d love to meet youSHIFTS :3:15PM -7:15PM, twice a week (4 hours total)Weekday evenings onlyWAGE :$14.13 per hourRESPONSIBILITIES:As an In-Home Respite Provider, you’ll play an important role in the child’s morning routine and overall comfort. Responsibilities include:Providing calm, compassionate care and supervision during the morning routineAssisting with breakfast and giving verbal prompts for hydrationSupporting with toileting and diaper changes in a patient, respectful wayHandling meltdowns or emotional moments with empathy and clear, consistent boundariesEngaging in fun activities the child enjoys — such as singing favorite songs (Plankton/Roblox soundtracks), light play, or brief Roblox sessions as part of the morning routineCreating a safe, structured, and positive environment where the child can feel supported and ready for the day aheadWHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:You’ll be a great fit for this role if you are:Patient, calm, and grounded — able to handle emotional or sensory challenges with empathyReliable and consistent — families depend on you to show up and provide stabilityPlayful and kind — able to connect through humor, music, or shared interestsA good communicator — comfortable following directions and maintaining open communication with the familyExperience in caregiving, child care, special education, or related fields is a plus, but training and guidance will be provided for the right person with the right heart.REQUIREMENTS:Valid Driver’s LicenseReliable TransportationMust pass a background checkWHY THIS ROLE MATTERS:This isn’t just a short shift to make quick cash — it’s a meaningful way to make a positive impact every week for this family to make their days easier.
