Test Technician

Job Responsibilities Part II• Support 6S and continuous improvement initiatives• Work with manufacturing and cross functional teams to achieve project cost and manufacturing efficiency goals• Develop Standard operating Procedures to maintain equipment and facilities• Support Creation of test procedures• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing results in a cooperative and supportive manner• Complete assigned tasks on time, within budget and following design specifications• Communicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and customers • Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values and culture of the organizationQualifications • High School diploma or GED• Competent technical expertise in HVAC&R systems and tools• EPA 608 Universal Certification or ability to get one• Ability to obtain Security Clearance• Ability to read simple electrical schematics, refrigeration diagrams and product drawings• Experience with terminal soldering, crimping, and connector fabrication• Ability to work independently under supervision of others while reporting of progress and status• Proficient with basic hand and shop tools• Competency with MS Office software tools including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Desired Qualifications • Experience designing and drafting with 2D CAD and 3D solid modeling software • Experience with LabVIEW or other PC based data acquisition systems• Experience with terminal soldering, crimping, and connector fabrication.• Experience or desire to assist in schematic capture and control panel designU.S. Citizenship required.
