Job Description: The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) in the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering (HWCOE) at the University of Florida invites applications for multiple full-time, nine-month tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor. The positions have an anticipated start date of August 6. We are seeking candidates in all areas related to Electrical & Computer Engineering. However, we have a special interest in candidates with backgrounds in Quantum Computing/Communications/Networking/Signal Processing, Advanced Packaging, Artificial Intelligence, RF Electronics, MEMS, and Parallel and Distributed Computing. The faculty members will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses within the electrical & computer engineering curricula; initiate and sustain externally sponsored research programs; recruit and supervise graduate students; and engage in service activities for the University and the profession. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in a related field by the start date. Dedication to excellence in research, teaching, and service, and evidence of scholarly achievements are required. The candidate should have a record of or demonstrate the potential for successful proposal writing, Ph.D. student mentoring, scholarship, and classroom teaching. The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Florida (https://ece.ufl.edu/) has faculty members working in all aspects of electrical & computer engineering and is expected to grow in upcoming years. The total student population is approximately with nearly in the Ph.D. program.
