The successful candidate will be responsible for hands-on development of Java/J2EE applications, web services, and business processes on the IBM WebSphere platform. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), proficiency in various programming languages, and a track record of implementing best practices in application design, performance, and scalability.

RATE: 120k -130k per Annum

Minimum Requirements:

8 years of experience: Experience in Java/J2EE Enterprise Development – (Core Java, JDBC, Spring Boot, and Angular, for example).
8 years of experience: Experience with SQL.
8 years of experience: Experience with Web-based user interface development using Web-Tier frameworks – (Angular, React for example).
8 years of experience: Experience in Web services development – (RESTFul Services, for example).
8 years of experience: Experience designing enterprise applications and/or services. 
8 years of experience: Experience creating technical and functional design documentation.
8 years of experience: Experience within software development using Agile methodology – (Scrum, for example).
8 years of experience: Experience with multi-tier system/application development – (SOA, Microservices, 3-Tier applications, for example).

Preferred Requirements:

4 years of experience:Experience with Azure.
4 years of experience: Experience with Cosmos.
3 years of experience: Experience in DevOps technology including CI/CD pipeline and build and deployment tools such as Git.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Java/J2EE applications, web services, and business processes on the IBM WebSphere platform.
Implement applications utilizing J2EE Application Server, Authentication and Authorization, Caching strategies.
Work through all phases of the SDLC, ensuring best practices in application design, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Develop self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
Implement client-facing applications with responsive design and development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize and maintain enterprise-level Angular applications.
Utilize Test-driven development and test creation using frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine, Selenium.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
