Compensation:
  • Starting at $22 hourly, based on experience and skills
Schedules Available:
  • Full Time
    • Tuesday - Friday or Wednesday – Saturday
    • Schedule Hours- TBD
General Overview:
The successful candidate will work alongside a board-certified Veterinary Internist, specialists, and patient care personnel to provide exceptional client service and the highest standard of patient care. Our Internal Medicine department collaborates with multiple specialty services, including Neurology, Oncology, Emergency and Critical Care, Surgery, Dentistry & Oral Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiology, and Rehabilitation & Fitness. Internal Medicine technicians play a vital role in supporting AVES's commitment to 24/7/365 veterinary care by contributing to on-call services, holiday coverage, and occasional support in other departments.

Desired Skills and Duties:
  • enthusiastic, eager to learn, and have excellent multi-tasking abilities
  • exemplary communication skills with both colleagues and clients

  • venipuncture
  • anesthesia monitoring
  • drug dose calculation
  • strong interest in internal medicine
About you:
  • Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVT) or experienced Veterinary Assistants with at least 2 years of experience, dedicated to providing outstanding client service and excellent patient care.
  • Prior experience in Emergency and specialty hospital is preferred.
  • Culture builders—team players eager to promote trust, collaboration, and a positive work environment.
  • Adaptability—individuals willing to go the extra mile to ensure the best patient and client experience.
  • Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus
