Position Summary TIC is looking for a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic for an energy project located in Greenville, MS.Requirements 3+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic preferredExperience with field troubleshooting equipment preferredExperience working with the following equipment: Caterpillar, Liebherr, Xtreme, Takeuchi. Experience working with the following diagnostic systems: CAT ET, Cummins INSITE, Diesel Laptop. Job Details Up to $30 per hour $100 per diem per days worked if applicableCurrent schedule is 7:00am – 5:30pm, Monday – FridayMust be willing to work additional overtime, weekends and nights when requiredAll offers are contingent on your ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol and fit for duty testWork Environment The person in this position needs to constantly move about a construction/industrial site, so should be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawlConstantly works in a construction environment and will be exposed to changing outdoor weather conditionsWork irregular hours, weekends, overtime and holidays as requiredMay be required to use ladders/mechanical platforms/manlifts/scaffold to access required equipment/work areas (may exceed 200 feet), so must be able to climb and maintain balance on formwork, steel formwork, stairs, ladders and scaffoldsMove and work in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven surfacesMust be able to complete tasks in a noisy and dusty environmentMay be required/able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds across construction/industrial siteMust have required toolsObserve and comply with all safety and project rules, perform other duties as requiredAbility to pass drug and alcohol testing, and fit for duty medical About TIC TIC – The Industrial Company is a leading industrial, power, marine and heavy civil contractor that builds some of the most complex projects across North America.
