IAM & Governance Manager

As the Senior Manager of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Governance, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and overseeing an effective IAM strategy that ensures secure and compliant access to organizational resources. You will lead a team responsible for defining and enforcing access policies, managing user identities, and maintaining governance frameworks to safeguard sensitive information. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of IAM technologies, compliance requirements, and the ability to align IAM strategies with the organization's overall security objectives. What you’ll be doing (Job Duties & Responsibilities) IAM Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive IAM strategy aligned with organizational goals and security standards. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into IAM solutions. Access Governance: Design and implement access governance frameworks to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. Support access reviews, certifications, and audits to maintain the integrity of access controls. Identity Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end identity lifecycle, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and account maintenance. Implement automation solutions to streamline identity management processes and improve operational efficiency. Technology Evaluation and Integration: Evaluate emerging IAM technologies and make recommendations for their integration to enhance security posture. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate IAM solutions with existing infrastructure and applications. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with identity and access management. Work closely with the cybersecurity team to respond to incidents and implement corrective actions. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IAM professionals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of IAM projects. Reporting and Metrics: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of IAM controls. Provide regular reports to executive leadership on the status of IAM initiatives. What you will need to be successful (Skills, Knowledge, & Experience) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Proven experience in a senior-level IAM role with a focus on access governance and identity lifecycle management. In-depth knowledge of IAM technologies, such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM). Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to IAM, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC, are highly desirable. Salary Range $11000.00 to $140000.00 / year Benefits & Perks The compensation range describes the typical minimum or maximum base pay range for this position. The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
