T&M Associates is seeking a multi-talented Staff Engineer to join our Water / Wastewater Department This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to advance their career to learn and grow within the framework of an engineering consulting firm. Responsibilities include the design projects in water and wastewater treatment facility, and linear infrastructure, as well as pumping stations and condition assessments, as well as field inspections, as required.Responsibilities Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and bid packages.Conduct construction observation for municipal infrastructure projects (e.g., sewer, storm drain, water).Ensure contractor compliance with design drawings and specifications.Perform quantity measurements, review shop drawings, and prepare daily field reports.Coordinate with municipal staff, residents, and other stakeholders.Participate in project discussions regarding technical approach, cost, and scheduling.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in either Civil or Environmental Engineering field is required.2 - 4 years of related experience is preferred. Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is preferred with the goal to obtain a Professional Engineer’s (P.E.) License. Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is required. Detail-oriented with a strong command of design principles and the ability to develop neat and accurate design calculations. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication skills are required. Ability to work with peers and senior management and be a team player.Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.T&M Associates is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices in compliance with applicable laws, including the New Jersey Equal Pay Act. T&M estimates that the salary range for this position will fall between $79,000 - $103,000.
