Manufacturing ManagersCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for First-Line Manufacturing Managers (Level K) to support the Fabrication team in Puyallup and/or Auburn, Washington on 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd shift.Position Responsibilities:Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplinesDevelops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategiesAcquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reportsProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processesManages, develops and motivates employeesBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime (primarily a 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd shift)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):1+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data1+ years of experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principlesDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Shift:Candidate may be selected for 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd shift.
