Job Description:The Department of English at Fairfield University’s Meditz College of Arts and Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of English in Professional Writing, starting Fall 2026, pending final budgetary approval.We are seeking a faculty member to develop courses in, teach in, and eventually lead the Professional Writing program within the English Department, as well as teach in the University’s nationally-recognized Core Writing program.The standard course load for a tenure-track faculty member assigned to undergraduate teaching is 3-3, on a semester schedule.
