And if that’s you we would love to have you join usJob DescriptionWe are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Commodity Manager to lead the global sourcing strategy for Indirect services. This role is a part of the Global Indirect Strategic Sourcing Organization within our Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) business function. You will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that deliver world-class supplier performance in quality, service, cost, working capital, and innovation. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, analytical mindset, and proven experience in indirect sourcing and supplier negotiations across a global footprint.This role reports to the Global Sourcing Manager, Indirect Services and you will work from either Mayfield Heights, OH or Milwaukee, WI.Your Responsibilities:Develop and implement global Sourcing strategies for assigned commodities within Indirect Sourcing.Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management to ensure optimal value and performance.Collaborate with Business Unit stakeholders such as Engineering, Legal, and Finance to align Sourcing strategies with Rockwell's Strategic Framework.Monitor and analyze market trends, cost drivers, and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for innovation and cost reduction.Lead should-cost modeling, pricing analysis, and benchmarking to support strategic decision-making and cost optimization.Drive supplier negotiations to achieve best-in-class commercial terms, service levels, and long-term value creation.Manage supplier performance through KPIs, scorecards, and regular business reviews.Drive risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Support make vs. buy decisions, outsourcing strategies, and supplier consolidation initiatives.Lead continuous improvement efforts with commodity team, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.Achieve year-over-year improvement in total cost, quality, service, and working capital.The Essentials - You Will Have:Bachelor's DegreeLegal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.The ability to travel 20% of the time.The Preferred - You Might Also Have:5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or global commodity managementExperience working in a matrixed, global organization with cross-functional collaborationFamiliarity with contract law, IP considerations, and service-level agreementsProficiency in sourcing tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba)Experience with Engineering Services, Contingent Labor, HR Services, or other Professional Services#LI-AA1#LI-hybridWhat We Offer:Health Insurance including Medical, Dental and Vision401kPaid Time offParental and Caregiver LeaveFlexible Work Schedule where you will work with your manager to enjoy a work schedule that can be flexible with your personal life.This position is part of a job family.
