Assist with set up's as necessary and complete all necessary documentationMajor Accountabilities:Operate hand transfer and progressive die operation and/or perform other duties according to specific job instructions (i.e. coil replacement)Problem solve automation problems as they arise (i.e. decoiler, feeder, die, etc.) Follow work instructions and verbal directions to meet targeted production quotas Ensure that only quality parts are passed onto the next operation, notify supervisor of quality related problems immediatelyComplete all necessary documentation (production reports, quality alerts etc.) correctly and in a timely manner. Ask for assistance as requiredAbide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee HandbookQualification:High school diploma or equivalent;Experience with Transfer Presses and Progressive/Hand Transfer PressesExperience with Atlas and HMS Transfer AutomationExperience with set-up and die change;Knowledge of IATF 16949Knowledge of ISO 14001: 2015Work Environment:Constant communication with employees, peers, and management.Frequent distractions and interruptionsMultiple demands in a challenging and fast paced- team orientated environmentNoisy environmentOvertime as required.Office, Plant floor Travel as requiredHealth & Safety:Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company and plant rules, policies and proceduresMust use or wear Personal Protective Equipment and certain clothing as required by the CompanyBenefitsWorking in a great team environmentMedical, Dental and Vision InsuranceSafety shoe and prescription safety glasses reimbursementSupplier discountsTuition reimbursement and training opportunitiesJob Type - Full Time
