AmeriHome Mortgage is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Capital Market's Analytics Team. The Analytics team works closely with the firm's trading desk and is responsible for building and maintaining the firm's core financial systems and models. We are a successful and growing team focused on developing software that will power the company's changing needs. We are looking for a motivated individual with a history of working successfully within small innovative software teams.As a member of this team, you will be working in a fast-paced development team while collaborating with other teams. You will have the opportunity to participate in designing, developing, and maintaining both existing products and new products. While working on these products you will be responsible for full life-cycle management, including requirements analysis, technical design, implementation, testing, documentation, deployment to production and overall ownership of your code.
What we are looking for:
Analyze, design, develop and unit test software applications, including business critical Web services to be consumed by internal/external applications, with high quality and on schedule. Collaborate with your partners in trading and back office teams to understand requirements, and turn those requirements into carefully designed and well-authored quality code.What you will need:
MS in Computer Science or equivalent field, with 2+ years of related professional history. BS in Computer Science or equivalent field, with 4+ years of related professional history. Proven ability to deliver working solutions on time. 2+ years of software development experience using Object Oriented design for high-volume transactional applications or APIs using C#, Asp.Net or .Net Core. Experience in building high scale, multi-tenant Web services, WCF or RESTful APIs using C#. Strong Transact SQL (T-SQL) programming and design skills, and experience in SQL Server. Understanding of modern source control technologies such as GIT. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, TeamCity or Octopus. Experience with front-end development is a plus. Experience with Syncfusion, WinForms, or WPF is a plus. Experience with web development is a plus. Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $107,000.00 - $130,000.00 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.Benefits you'll love:
