Job Summary:The Pediatric Caregiver at 5 Star Homecare will provide compassionate and high-quality care to pediatric patients in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.This is a part-time, hourly job and will require an individual who is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.As a Pediatric Caregiver, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of pediatric patients.Compensation & Benefits:- Competitive hourly pay- Flexible schedule options- Paid training and ongoing support- Opportunities for career advancement- Positive and supportive work environmentResponsibilities:- Provide direct care and assistance to pediatric patients under the guidance of a Registered Nurse- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding.- Monitor and record patient's vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse- Help create a safe and stimulating environment for pediatric patients- Engage in activities that promote physical, cognitive, and emotional development- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plansRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Current CPR certification- 1-2 years of experience working with pediatric patients preferred- Knowledge of pediatric medical conditions and treatments- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude- Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as neededEEOC Statement:5 Star Homecare is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected status in accordance with applicable laws.We value diversity and aim to create an inclusive and welcoming work environment for all employees.
