Possesses a working knowledge of standard test equipment, oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, etc., as well as a working knowledge of custom made test equipment, including automated test equipment.Has a basic understanding of advanced test equipment functions. Capable of reprogramming equipment and determines possible failures.Aligns and adjusts advanced electrical components on units being tested to ensure proper functioning of electrical circuits, utilizing established test procedures.Conducts a variety of functional tests to check operation and calibration of test stations, components, equipment and systems.Analyzes circuitry and physically checks wiring and operation of various electronic parts, units and systems components necessary to locate malfunction source during testing of components, equipment or systems.Performs difficult electrical / mechanical repair operations consisting of disassembly and assembly of units. Determines requirements and installs modifications as set forth by Service Bulletin or other authorized documentation.QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.Electronics maintenance industry experience or education required.Must have prior experience troubleshooting electronics equipment.This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:Prior experience troubleshooting to component-level.Prior soldering experience in related environment.HUD experience a plus.ROLE TYPE:*Please ensure the role type (defined below) is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role.Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
