Position SummaryThe Store Courtesy Clerk will be instrumental in ensuring that our store is always clean, organized, and fully stocked to provide a welcoming environment for customers. You will help create an outstanding shopping experience by maintaining the cleanliness of the store and ensuring shelves and coolers are stocked efficiently. If you take pride in keeping things in order and enjoy working in a dynamic retail environment, we want you on our teamResponsibilities and Duties:Store Maintenance & Cleanliness: Ensure that all store areas, both inside and outside, are consistently clean, organized, and well-maintained. This includes shelving, coolers, signage, canopies, spanners, and nozzles. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as floor maintenance, restroom cleaning, and trash removal according to daily cleaning schedules.Stocking & Organization: Maintain the proper stocking and organization of store shelves and coolers to enhance the customer experience. Regularly inspect stock levels and work with store management to replenish inventory as needed.Customer Experience: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner to help create a positive shopping experience. Assist with store upkeep and ensure that the environment is welcoming and accessible for all customers.Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and protocols for store cleaning and maintenance. Ensure that all store areas are safe, including regular checks on equipment and fixtures.Support to Team Members: Collaborate effectively with store team members to maintain operational efficiency. Support the team with various tasks as directed by management to ensure smooth store operations.Education and Work ExperienceHigh school graduate, GED, or equivalent requiredRelated professional experience, preferredExceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a diverse populationStrong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order.Ability to perform routine tasks efficiently, with an organized and proactive approach.Self-motivated with a positive attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands and work environment described below are general expectations for this position.
