Job DescriptionFinancial Operations CoordinatorLocation: Reno, NV (In Person) | Reports To: Sierra Miles partner Brandon App and/or Compliance OfficerWe’re looking for an experienced, organized Financial Operations Coordinator. You’ll manage financial operations—reconciling accounts, generating invoices, and coordinating payroll and tax providers. You’ll work with our Customer Success Manager on client billing and with vendors to ensure timely payments.Key ResponsibilitiesReconcile accounts and generate client invoicesManage accounts payable and receivableSales, Use and other tax administration Coordinate with payroll and tax providers for accurate, timely processingManage vendor payments on behalf of clientsCollaborate with Customer Success Manager on billingMaintain efficient financial processes and systemsPrepare and analyze financial reports; present insightsRecommend improvements to processes and systemsCommunicate effectively with clients; verify and reconcile transactionsPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsRequirementsExperience in Accounting, Finance, or related field; technical background a plus3+ years of experience in financial operations or bookkeepingStrong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax managementProficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting softwareAdvanced Excel skillsExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyBenefitsBenefitsCompetitive salary and benefitsHealth, dental & vision insurance (full-time only)401(k) with company match (prorated for part-time)Paid time off and holidays (prorated for part-time)Professional development supportReasonable and flexible work scheduleOngoing learning to keep up with technologyCompany culture grounded in diversity and equalityRequirements3–5 years of experience in financial or administrative support Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel Strong customer service skills for handling calls and invoice questions Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Technical expertise with financial/admin software Ability to problem-solve and work independently
