We are seeking a dedicated Heavy-Duty Equipment Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installing and testing heavy-duty equipment, including but not limited to industrial machinery, heavy equipment, or similar types of machinery. As an installer, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and testing heavy-duty equipment at various job sites. This role requires proficiency in hydraulic systems, electrical, power units, schematics, welding, and operation of forklifts. Additionally, candidates must possess a valid CDL license to transport equipment to different locations and be proficient in rigging equipment. The ability to travel both locally and overnight is essential for this position. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and install heavy-duty equipment according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Conduct required testing on installed equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Rigging Equipment.
  • Operate forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and perform necessary repairs on hydraulic systems, electrical, power units, and welding components.
  • Collaborate with team members and project managers to coordinate installation schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Travel both locally and overnight to customer sites as needed to perform all aspects of installation process while representing Komar/BACE in a professional manner to our clients.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
  • Valid CDL license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability in Rigging Equipment.
  • Extensive experience in installing and maintaining heavy-duty equipment.
  • Proficiency in hydraulic systems, electrical, power units, welding, and forklift operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel both locally and overnight as required.
