The Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides extraordinary care and treatment to patients in the cardiology clinical setting. The responsibilities of the NP include: Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients health care condition and needs. Services provided may include stress tests, and other advanced diagnostic and therapeutic functions related to cardiac patients. This professional works in collaboration with cardiologists to develop a plan and goals for patient to ensure the best possible outcome for our patients. Delaware Cardiovascular Associates is seeking two NPs for the Southern Delaware location of Sussex County of Lewes, Milford and Ocean View. We are also seeking one NP for the Central Delaware location of Kent County of Dover and Smyrna. Minimum Requirements  Current state license as a Nurse Practitioner  Eligible for state Controlled Substance License  Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V  This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification. An original card must be verified prior to start date or the job offer will be withdrawn.  Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Physical Requirements  Hearing/Listening, Manual Dexterity, Lifting, Pulling/Pushing, Seeing, Speaking Preferred Qualifications  Applicable certification from a recognized certifying organization such as American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC), the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or you must graduate from a program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) as a Physician Assistant Program, preferably a certified PA after having passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE) Please Note All positions subject to close without notice All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
