Overview Indiana University Health Medical Group West Region has an employment opportunity for a Wound Care Physician to practice in IU Health Arnett Wound care Center atLafayette, IN Employment Opportunity Details Full time M-F: 8-5 100% outpatient No call schedule Team includes 1 physician, i Nurse Practitioner and 7 support staff. *Training available for HBO and wound care education* Job Description Treat patients with open wounds from birth to advanced age needing advanced wound care such as: hyperbaric oxygen therapy, total contact casting, negative pressure wound therapy, and cellular and tissue-based products. 10-15 encounters per day, with a majority of wound care and less than 5% Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Procedures: Cellulitis therapy Compression therapy Hyperbaric oxygen therapy Infection management and prevention Wound cleaning Wound dressing Skin substitution applications Wound debridement Wound cultures and biopsies Bone cultures and biopsies TCOM testing Minimum job requirements (qualifications) Board Eligible or Board Certified Physician MD/DO licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana will consider specialties in General Surgery, Podiatry, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine & Family medicine.
