This role will serve as the finance partner to senior business leaders and general managers within the Population Health business line. The Director, Finance will lead the overall budget/forecast process for all Population Health markets and enable leaders to make good decisions by delivering insight about performance vs plan. This leader will also actively partner with the Business Development, Accounting, and Actuary teams on forward-looking analyses of proposed new business. This role provides an opportunity to drive key finance activities, directly support senior leaders, and gain finance experience in scaling a high-growth business as the Finance team enables Strive's transformation of care for kidney patients. This position will report to the VP, Finance.
The Day to Day
Serves as the Finance business partner and primary point of contact for Population Health leaders including the President/COO, SVP of Operations, and General Managers across Strive's business units (Population Health, Dialysis, CKCC, and Strive Care Partners). Develops analysis and scenarios to support decision-making, provide visibility, and drive results. Takes an active role in strategy sessions by analyzing and recommending growth strategies. Assembles, analyzes, and reports the operating forecast and strategic long-range plan for each client and business unit; generates insights into the financial implications of existing and proposed actions. Leads/project manages the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting process in close collaboration with Operations leaders. Uses a hypothesis-based approach to identify, validate, and quantify risks and opportunities. Communicates business unit financial results and variance drivers to facilitate understanding and action planning. Establishes appropriate financial reporting to support day-to-day management of financials in collaboration with Operations stakeholders, Finance, and Accounting. Assists with navigating reporting tools and interpreting analyses to drive business results. Thinks critically; pressure tests modeling assumptions and outputs. Communicates modeling, analyses, and findings in a clear, accurate, and compelling way. Supports the implementation of new tools and technology; leverages them to develop infrastructure and processes to improve how we do things. Leads preparation for financial reviews with JV partners.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or similarly highly analytical field. 8+ years of relevant FP&A, financial analysis, modeling, or finance business partner experience – preferably supporting senior business leaders. Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency-
