This is a great opportunity, providing work-life balance in one of America’s greatest playgrounds.On the Outpatient sideRoughly 8 days of clinic, spread over 3 weeksBroad Primary Care PracticeMultispecialty Clinic with support from specialists and ancillary servicesClinic site has 5 Family PhysiciansNo OB, but prenatal care is an optionTelephone call 1:26, peds call only16-22 patients per dayThis position is to prepare for anticipated retirementsOn the Inpatient sideHalf-time Hospitalists work 1, 7-on shift, per month.Day shift, onlyPartner with existing Hospitalist Program of both full and half-time providers.Schedule – 12 hours shifts with 2-3 weeks of nights; rest of the shifts are days.Hospitalists will cover ICU, with consultative intensivist support.Total number of physicians in specialty currently in department at practice site: 7. The practice is fully staffed with 8-9 hospitalists. Average inpatient practice volume per day: Med Surg-71 / ICU-10; divided between 3-4 rounding hospitalist, who also share admissions.
