CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.The Junior PKI Administrator supports and provides superior customer service. PKI support is direct support of customer certificate issues and PKI system-related issues. Located in Springfield, VA. Responsibilities Provide support to the agency’s efforts to manage and monitor Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Programs. This support includes the following activities:Serve as a PKI Registration AuthorityConduct face-to-face user validationProvide trainingSupport development, maintenance, and management of policiesMaintain awareness of and competency with new and developing protocols, specifications, techniques, and standardsCoordinate and resolve Information Assurance-related trouble tickets in connection with PKICreate installation and training documentationOther duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED with 6+ years of relevant experience ORAssociate’s degree and 4+ years’ experience ORBachelor’s Degree and 2+ years’ experienceRelevant experience in the following:Operational experience with ServiceNowExperience in the Intelligence CommunityDoD 8140 (formerly 8570.01-M), IAT Level II: CCNA-Security; GICSP; GSEC; Security+ CE (within 6 months)TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain CI PolyKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to work Shift hours. Shift will be identified upon hireAbility to work independently and yet be effective within a team settingMust be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environmentDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individualsFriendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applicationsProficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting, as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve itHow you’ll growAt Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
