Temp Aide - STEALTH Teacher (After-School Program)-(250154)DescriptionJob Title: STEALTH Teacher (After-School Program)Position OverviewWe are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable STEALTH Teacher to lead engaging, hands-on, cross-curricular learning experiences for students in our after-school program. This is NOT a worksheet-based program—students learn through creative, interactive, and project-based activities designed to spark curiosity and critical thinking.Key ResponsibilitiesTeach fun, hands-on lessons that integrate multiple subject areas (science, technology, engineering, art, literacy, math, and more).Plan and prepare engaging activities that encourage problem-solving and collaboration.Provide academic tutoring daily for 10-15 minutes.Arrange for substitute teachers when necessary and create clear substitute lesson plans.Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive classroom environment.Communicate effectively with program staff, students, and families.RequirementsReliable, punctual, and well-prepared for every session.Passionate about teaching and inspiring students through active, project-based learning.Strong classroom management and organizational skills.Ability to adapt and think creatively when planning lessons.Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred.Schedule & CompensationAfter-school hours 4:10-5:45Teacher pay $25, Para pay $17Qualifications - ExternalQualifications:Depending on program needs, a Physical Capacity Profile (PCP) test may be required.
