Individual Needs (What the candidate must bring to succeed in this role) Strong work ethic with consistent attendance and reliability. Ability to work and tolerate meat-processing conditions, refrigerated environments (35°F-40°F), freezer environments (10ºF-18ºF), and the processing area always kept at 48ºF. Physical capability to lift 40-70 lbs, stand for extended periods (if not all day at some times), and perform repetitive motions. Team-oriented attitude with willingness to cross-train and assist in multiple areas as needed. • Basic understanding of food safety principles and willingness to complete our GMP training. • Flexibility to work overtime, based on production demand.Primary Responsibilities Produce, blend, and scale spices for all productions at our various facilities − Follow exact product formulations to ensure accurate production. Track raw material lot codes and create batch records. Aid in raw material inventory tracking and inventory system batch records. Operate and monitor meat-processing equipment (not limited to: grinders, stuKers, slicers, tumblers, etc.) per SOPs. Inspect raw materials and finished goods for quality, safety, and specification compliance. Accurately document production data, lot codes, and quality checks. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment according to USDA and SQF standards. Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding equipment malfunctions, product deviations, or safety concerns. Secondary Responsibilities Assist in training new team members on proper production and safety procedures. Participate in internal audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support other departments (inventory, QA, packaging) as required. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior meat manufacturing or food processing experience a plus. Ability to read and interpret production paperwork and SOPs. Math skills for measuring, weighing, and portioning. − You will be required to perform a basic math test to ensure complete understanding. − You must be able to do basic addition and subtraction in your head, on the fly, and with others.Required Skills Must be good with computers and understand their functionality. Ability to learn and excel with our inventory system - VistaTrac. Google Sheets Microsoft Excel Required Language − Spanish is a bonus but is not required. Management does not speak Spanish, so being fluent in English is a must.
