With a global portfolio of brands and millions of users worldwide, we’re entering a bold new phase of transformation—driven by people, technology, and ambition.  The Role.The Vice President, Paid Media and SEO will lead Bluehost's performance marketing strategy and programs to drive high-quality acquisition, revenue growth, and customer lifetime value. This leader will own paid search, display, programmatic, organic search, SEO, and emerging digital channels—building a performance engine that scales efficiently across geographies and products. This role requires deep channel expertise, analytical precision and creative agility to translate business goals into scalable performance programs, guide multimillion-dollar investments with confidence and focus on results, and inspire a team that thrives on experimentation, efficiency, and impact. What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark. Performance Marketing Leadership Lead all paid media channels (Search, Display, Video, Social) and SEO across multiple offerings and relevant markets. Define and manage a multi-million $ annual media budget with focus on MRR, Spend/MRR, and MER efficiency. Develop full-funnel acquisition strategies—from awareness to conversion to expansion—optimizing for growth and LTV. Drive experimentation frameworks for bidding, creative testing, and audience segmentation powered by AI and automation. SEO and Organic Growth Oversee global SEO strategy including technical foundations, on-page, and content-led initiatives to maximize organic visibility and non-paid growth. Build scalable programmatic SEO initiatives tied to product and category expansion. Grow high-intent traffic and optimize conversion paths through data-backed insights, new tools and content innovation. Partner with Web and Cart teams to ensure web experience, site architecture, and landing pages are optimized for both performance and experience. Analytics, Attribution & Optimization Be the owner for the single source of truth for paid and organic performance dashboards, layered on systems like GA4, Adobe, SFDC etc. Partner with other Marketing teams and Finance to refine attribution models and inform spend reallocation decisions. Drive automation through AI bidding, predictive LTV models, and real-time performance reporting. Team & Cross-Functional Leadership Lead and mentor a global team of paid media and SEO professionals (in-house + agency). Partner with Product Marketing, Lifecycle, and Brand teams to ensure unified messaging and optimized journeys. Collaborate with Finance and Strategy to ensure performance plans align with quarterly targets and Rule of 40 principles. Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed. Extensive Experience: Typically, 10–15 years in digital marketing, with a significant portion in leadership roles overseeing SEO and paid media strategies. Technical Stack and Analytical Expertise: Proficiency in harnessing new-age AI platforms and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Adobe stack, Ahrefs) to derive insights and inform strategy. Leadership Qualities: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide diverse teams toward achieving common goals. Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term strategies that align with business objectives and adapt to changing market conditions, and evolving technologies with AI capabilities. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the web hosting or SaaS industry. Familiarity with Bluehost's product offerings and customer base. Proven track record of scaling digital marketing initiatives in a high-growth environment. Why you’ll love us. Work-life balance.
