Job DescriptionThe main responsibility of the Associate (Strategic) FAE position is to proactively support Vicor power solutions into various market opportunities with a primary focus in Data Center and AI applications. This involves providing additional technical support to strategic FAEs that are involved in pre- and post- Sales customer engagements.Job responsibilities: Lab worko    Experienced in operating test equipment necessary in evaluating and debugging power supply products (ie. PSUs, DMM, Oscilloscopes, Frequency Generators, Network Analyzers,…)o    Experienced in soldering through hole and SMD componentso    Experienced in data collection, analysis, and report writing Design review (schematic/layout)o    Experienced in using schematic capture tools (ie. Allegro, Altim,..)Simulationo    Experienced in using simulation software (ie. Spice, LTspice, Simplis, Sigrity,…)Education / QualificationsThe candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical EngineeringMinimum of  upto 5 years related experience in either analog/power supply design or analog based applications engineeringBase Level Electronics Technician skillsExcellent understanding of analog designExcellent written/verbal communication skills.  Experience in designing and or testing VR solutions for CPUs, GPUs, and or ASICs is highly desirable. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.Vicor is an EO employer – M/F/Veteran/DisabilityCompensation DataSalary Range $75,000 - 90,000 plus a 20% cost of living adjustmentPlease note: This range is based on our current market driven pay structures.
