Ready to work for a high-volume shop? We're looking for a Used Car Technician to join us at Castle Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram in Naperville. What's In It For You: 401(K) profit sharing Major medical (50% employee paid premium) Dental Vision Voluntary Benefits (Accident, Critical Illness, Disability, and more) Life Insurance, Property & Casualty Insurance Paid Time Off Employee vehicle purchase discounts Career advancement Used Car Technician Responsibilities Test to check systems and components are secure and working properly Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem Drive the vehicle for testing purposes and inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed Install a new oil train plug and new oil filter and communicate oil levels to teammates Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks Used Car Technician Qualifications Experience working with used cars, any make/model Deep understanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilities Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment ASE Certification/Technical degree (preferred) Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Technician: $25- $43 per hourCompensation will be based on performance and experience; pay ranges may vary from displayed amounts We are looking for qualified, quality people who are ready to start their career within our family.
