We see ourselves as innovators, creators, and leaders that solve problems with visionary The Pharmacy Fulfillment Manager, under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, supervises and performs pharmacy care duties consistent with the scope of practice of a pharmacy in relation to the operation of a mail order pharmacy and a free goods program; and performs other related duties as required. Responsibilities Oversees the department staff in filling, packing and shipping of orders with the assistance of pharmacy technicians and clerks; Supervising the receipt of product, ensuring that only products intended for the pharmacy are accepted by the receiving clerks and double-checked by pharmacy technician or pharmacist; ensures that daily logs are maintained with accurate information relative to products received; Maintains all records of the delivery process and inventory such as time, date, quantity, source and destination of materials received or shipped; Directs the workflow, motivates, trains and monitors the performance of pharmacy warehouse associates; Monitors work processes and makes suggestions for modifications to increase and improve productivity, efficiency and accuracy for improving costs and quality; implements changes as directed or needed; Leads a team of pharmacy technicians and clerks to ensure that productivity and quality metrics are met safely and compliantly; Ensures clear understanding of day-to-day priorities and communicates effectively to team members; Provide leadership and direction by establishing clear expectations, communicating specific performance feedback and giving timely and thorough performance reviews; Ensure development and training of colleagues to ensure a high-performing team; Take lead in acclimating new staff to existing equipment and all colleagues to new technology; Holds team members accountable to ensure success in meeting productivity metrics; Coaches employees to support their development in the role; Perform audits to ensure standards are met within the business organization as well as prioritize and monitor workflows, addressing related issues as appropriate to achieve pharmacy production objectives; Responsible for tracking and root cause analysis of efficiency and quality measures, primarily, but not limited to automated packing equipment; Assist in development and implementation of strategies and Standard Operating Procedures; Collaborate with other areas of the business both internal and external to meet defined customer and client expectations; Provides excellent customer service to all patients, medical professionals, and colleagues internal and external to TC Script via phone, video conference, or in person; Works with Pharmacy Manager to ensure that there is clear alignment on daily, weekly and monthly goals are met; Understands program specific work instructions and clearly provides expectation to team; Leads and facilitates meetings and communication internally and externally as necessary; Qualifications Education and/or Training: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Professional Experience: A minimum of two years of pharmacy technician experience preferred; Licenses/Certifications: Unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License required/National Certification preferred; Ability to communicate effectively as a leader, both orally and in writing. Good decision-making skills. Must possess basic mathematical skills. Good analytical skills. Good leadership/coaching skills. Good interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of pharmacy warehouse operations Basic six-sigma knowledge Strong organizational skills; attention to detail. Knowledge of computers to operative effectively with Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel, as well as various virtual communication tools. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with pharmacy warehouse associates; foster teamwork. May require proficiency to operate a reach truck. Must be willing to work extended hours, take part in weekend on-call rotation, as needed, to meet productivity goals and provide emergency service to customers. Must be willing to participate in physical inventory if scheduled. Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift packages up to thirty-five pounds repeatedly. Specialized Skills: Knowledge of medication names; prescription order elements; process new and refill prescriptions; reporting drug adverse events to supervising pharmacist; establish and maintain good relationships with physician/healthcare practices; assist in streamlining communication with the patient, pharmacist; nurses, lab and other healthcare-related parties; work as part of a team to provide support to other members of the healthcare team; coordinate responses and resolutions with appropriate internal and external parties; and perform all tasks in a safe manner that is consistent with corporate policies as well as state and federal laws. Technical Skills: Basic understanding of telephony and pharmacy management system functionality Applicants must be able to pass a drug test and background investigation prior to employment.
