This position will be required to work Saturdays and as a vacation fill in as needed. In the absence of the Production Supervisor, this incumbent must be able to run the production line and ensure that an adequate number of trained team members are on the line to produce hamburgers, while also making sure team members follow company GMP’s, SQF, HACCP and all food safety regulations. This position description does not contain a comprehensive list of required duties and responsibilities.What we are looking forThis position must be flexible to change schedule and hours of work to meet the needs of the plant and be available to work on Saturdays as a vacation fill in where needed;Associate College Degree preferred, High School diploma or GED required;Prior experience working on a manufacturing food production line;Prior Supervisory experience dealing with team member concerns while maintaining professionalism and working as a team;Knowledge of how all production equipment operates (including the ERP system) and ability to function efficiently at any of the line positions;Directing and motivating team members and ensuring everyone follows our Values and Behaviors;Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Calmness under pressure and handling the stress associated with issues/problems;May be required to work some Saturdays and/or Sundays based on the needs of the plant; andStanding for long periods of time, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 70 pounds.What you will doContinual monitoring of floor which includes equipment, product, and team members to ensure that production runs smoothly; this includes working the line during breaks and lunches;Oversee the set up and shut down of the production equipment and raw materials at the beginning and end of the production shift, following established procedures;Schedule and oversee the training of new team members; both WCD and temporaries;Supervise team members to ensure they know and follow all policies, procedures, SOP’s, and GMP’s, while complying with all established safety guidelines.
