Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Caregivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of seniors throughout our community. We provide a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. No experience needed - we provide paid training.FT or PT with shifts 12 hours in length. Start times that vary between 7:00-8:00pm... you choose what you want to workPrimary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Companionship and conversationLight housekeeping tasks and meal preparationMedication and appointment remindersAssistance with grooming and bathingAssistance with toileting and incontinence issuesAssistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)Assistance with Pet CareAlzheimer’s CareRequirements to be a Caregiver:Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respectAbility to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial mannerComplete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screenPossess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)Must have or be able to obtain CPR/1st Aid CertificationMust have a functioning voicemail box that is monitored and must return messages.We have a variety of shifts available with competitive pay, flexible schedules and benefits including paid training, sick pay, and provide personal protective equipment (PPE).
