MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Complete Sub Leader Selection Process pre-qualification requirements (ALL 3 REQUIRED PRIOR TO POSTING) Must be an Associate III or above Submit two (2) recommendation forms from Team Leader and above (See HRBP/Recruiting for form) Complete Sub Leader Learning Path Training in Oracle High School diploma or . equivalent. Must have one or more years of management experience in a high volume, fast paced area. Must have a minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience and knowledge of TS16949, ISO14000, TPS system and an understanding of the kaizen system. Must have good organizational, time management and communication skills, have the ability to multi-task, a positive attitude, be self-motivated, have an acceptable attendance record and a clear understanding of company goals and objectives. Must be able to communicate with support groups and customers on scheduling priorities, have a good understanding of DMMI policies and procedures and be comfortable giving and receiving constructive criticism. Bi-lingual competency highly preferred in languages that reflect the Battle Creek community. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Managing multiple tasks simultaneously including direct and indirect managing of associates, meeting goals and objectives through continuous improvement activities, completion of daily paperwork and daily audits of area processes, and analysis of data to improve the processes. Must be able to assume daily tasks of managing the area in the Team Leaders absence and fill in for associates who are absent. Prefer someone who has a clear understanding of Microsoft Office applications, good troubleshooting skills and has previous experience with the Radiator process. MINIMUM POSTING ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS Two years with DMMI or at least a minimum of at least 3 months in current position if moving to the same team on 1st shift or 6 months in current position to 1st shift plant wide if posting for the first time since external hire unless promotable Last Performance Appraisal Meets or Better No Active Written Discipline Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position
