It is important that the plates are handled carefully and brought out in a timely manner, to ensure optimal food temperature.Deliver and describe food and beverages to the tables assignedResponsible for knowing how each dish is presented in order to assure that the proper order has been delivered to the tableAs needed, wipe tables and seats with dampened cloths, and replace dirty tableclothsSet tables with clean linens, condiments, and other suppliesScrape and stack dirty dishes, and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaningClean up spilled food, drink and broken dishes, and remove empty bottles and trashPerform serving, cleaning, and stocking duties in dining rooms in order to facilitate customer serviceMaintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, and traysServe ice water and coffeeFill beverage and ice dispensersStock serving areas with condiments, and refill condiment containers as necessaryLocate items requested by guestsMaintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform while workingMaintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all timesKeep wait stations clean, set up and take down station appropriatelyRemove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaningMay be asked to perform side work such as the following: stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linensPerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or equivalent. preferredAt least 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in hotels or restaurantsAbility to display warmth and hospitabilityFlexible and long hours sometimes requiredAbility to stand during entire shiftExerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objectKnowledge of Latin and Asian cuisine a plusPI48df4f60a7df-30511-34972299
