ERM is seeking a full-time Principal Consultant, Health & Safety, to join our team in Houston, TX and the Gulf region. Support our Health & Safety service line. Support health and safety management projects and help clients address EHS risks and challenges. Must be fluent in Spanish.RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and implement Safety Management Systems and risk assessmentsPerform incident investigations and develop corrective actionsAssist in solving complex technical and regulatory issuesExpand ERM’s Safety Services business and develop new opportunitiesDesign and direct corporate H&S strategies and programsLead and mentor the technical teamManage tasks to achieve scope, budget, and schedule targetsBuild client relationships and nurture repeat businessREQUIREMENTS:Bachelors degree in a related area; Masters degree preferred (or 8+ years related experience).2-3+ years of relevant experience in safety and risk management.Ability to work independently and in a team setting.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Willingness to travel (up to 50%) and valid passport.Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently.Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.
