Sr. Supply Planning Manager

Overview The Senior Supply Planning Manager must be strategic thinker with a proven track record in ERP Planning and Production Planning Systems and processes, the QSC Supply Planning Manager will play a crucial role in driving the success of our global supply chain by overseeing key aspects of the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes. This includes, but is not limited to, ERP Planning Systems and Tools, Production Planning and Scheduling, Rough Cut Capacity Planning, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Sales and Operations Execution (SOE), and more. Base Pay Range 119,000 - 178,000 The above reflects the pay range that QSC reasonably expects to pay for this role. Responsibilities 1. Tactical Supply Planning Leadership: - Oversee teams' execution of day-to-day tactical Supply Planning processes and activities. 2. Performance Management and Leadership: - Lead supply teams in translating business needs into systematic execution supporting overall business strategy. - Communicate performance expectations, provide timely feedback, training, and coaching for assigned staff. - Provide leadership and support to Planning teams through collaboration, communication, team building, and mentoring. 3. Collaboration and Coordination: - Collaborate with demand planning, core teams, and sales to set and manage planning strategies for new product introductions and end-of-life products. - Work with sales and demand planning to set and achieve targeted stocking positions for finished goods at various distribution centers. 4. Proactive System Management: - Oversee the performance of tactical planning systems and business logic for system integrations. - Manage current processes and systems for future business capabilities. 5. Strategic Planning and Process Improvement: - Implement process improvement objectives with best practice solutions for system alignment and ongoing optimization. - Analyze, identify, and recommend business proposals to Senior Leadership for efficient planning operations aligning with business strategy. 6. Cost Management and Metrics: - Effectively report and manage information related to cost and performance. - Consider and manage cost, revenue, and margin in decision-making. - Develop, maintain, and publish weekly and monthly planning and scheduling KPIs and metrics, including supplier/contract manufacturers' performance. 7. Information Reporting and Compliance: - Ensure compliance with policies, safety procedures, and fair employment practices. 8. Miscellaneous Responsibilities: - Handle confidential information with discretion. - Undertake other various duties and degrees of monitoring and reporting as required. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience in Business, Supply Chain Management and/or related field. • 5 to 10 years’ experience in material planning, inventory planning, and production scheduling. • Previous supervisory or manager experience required. • Undertake special analytical projects and conduct moderately complex business analyses. • Leverage materials and production planning best practices and policies to formulate business processes and procedures aimed at enhancing the accuracy, efficiency, and predictability of production planning, materials requirements planning, and inventory control. • Define Tools, Methods, Process, and Procedures for world wide supply planning and distribution requirements planning. • Advanced knowledge of ORACLE Production and Materials Planning Module, along with other interfacing modules. • Proficient in SCM and manufacturing processes. • Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and shop floor control. • Familiarity with key measurements and metrics related to production planning and control systems. • Advanced understanding of planning parameters, order modifiers, and data integrity as they relate to MRP planning systems master data. • Advanced analytical skills. • Demonstrated problem-solving skills for addressing diverse issues, navigating practical challenges, and handling various co • Effective cross-functional communication with a wide variety of internal stakeholders
