Concourse Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Inc. - Location: Bronx, NYPosition Type: Full-TimePosition SummaryThe Staffing Coordinator is responsible for creating, maintaining, and adjusting the nursing schedules to ensure adequate coverage on all shifts. This individual will work closely with the Nursing Department and Human Resources to manage staffing levels, track attendance, and assist with time and attendance systems such as SmartLinx.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily, weekly, and monthly nursing staff schedules, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.Monitor attendance, call-outs, and shift changes to ensure adequate coverage.Utilize SmartLinx or similar time-tracking systems to maintain accurate records of employee schedules and hours worked.Communicate with department heads and supervisors to address staffing needs and shortages.Assist HR and payroll with timecard verification and attendance adjustments.Maintain staffing logs, schedules, and compliance with facility policies and state regulations.Respond to staffing emergencies or last-minute absences by arranging replacements promptly.Support recruitment efforts for nursing staff and maintain an updated list of per-diem employees.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.Minimum 1–2 years of experience in healthcare staffing coordination, preferably in a nursing home or long-term care environment.Experience using SmartLinx or a similar employee scheduling/time-tracking system required.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.Excellent computer skills (MS Office, SmartLinx, or similar scheduling software).Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysSupportive management team
